Questions
Does it cost anything to join?+
No. There is no fee to apply or to be an agent, and farmers sign up for free.
What counts as an active farmer?+
A real farmer with a verified phone number or email who uses Eagmark on 2 different days within 14 days of signing up: a crop or livestock diagnosis, a question to the AI assistant, an AI farm tool, or a finished lesson.
How do farmers get linked to me?+
They open your link before signing up, or type your code on the sign-up form. Each farmer is linked to one agent: whoever they signed up with first.
How and when am I paid in Kenya?+
Each earning is held for 30 days, then becomes payable. On the 1st of every month we pay everything payable to your M-Pesa, in KES, once it adds up to at least KES 500. Smaller balances roll over to the next month.
What if a farmer has no email address?+
They can sign up with their phone number and an SMS code. A verified phone counts the same as a verified email.
What is not allowed?+
Creating accounts for people who are not real farmers, signing up yourself, or using a farmer’s account for them. Such sign-ups are rejected, their earnings removed, and the agent account may be paused.
