As a Technical Lead - Irrigation Equipment, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in the design, installation, commissioning, and optimization of irrigation systems across both the Flowers and Vegetables farms, ensuring all irrigation infrastructure meets agronomic, operational, and quality standards while supporting the Head of Irrigation and the broader production teams. This role is critical in ensuring efficient water use, high system performance, and alignment with agronomic and production targets
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Lead the design, installation, and commissioning of drip irrigation and fertigation systems
Develop technical specifications, layouts, and SOPs for irrigation infrastructure
Monitor system performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Conduct technical audits and ensure compliance with agronomic and environmental standards
Provide technical support, training, and mentorship to irrigation teams
Coordinate irrigation projects, budgets, and supplier engagements
Champion innovation and adoption of modern irrigation technologies
Your Profile
Graduate in Agricultural Engineering, Irrigation Engineering, Water Engineering, or a related field.
3–5 years’ experience in a similar role within a flower farm.
Strong expertise in irrigation system design, fertigation, and hydraulic calculations
Solid understanding of EC, PH, crop nutrition, and water management
Proven project management and problem-solving skills
