This Solutions Session takes place on November 6, 2025. Co-organized by the World Food Forum Global Youth Action Initiative hosted by FAO and UN Women, the session highlights how youth-led initiatives, particularly those empowering young women, can enhance food security and nutrition while contributing to poverty eradication.

Session Background

The session builds on the launch of the WFF Youth Assembly's Youth Recommendations Paper: Empowering Young Women in Agrifood Systems at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum. The paper identified ten priority areas for youth-led and multistakeholder action:

  • Inclusive access to resources and finance

  • Education and skills development

  • Leadership and representation

The session showcases strong examples of youth-led policy-to-action that advance the social development pillars and Sustainable Development Goals.
