
Youth-led Solutions: Advancing Young Women's and Girls' Rights, Achieving Food Security and Improving Nutrition
This Solutions Session takes place on November 6, 2025. Co-organized by the World Food Forum Global Youth Action Initiative hosted by FAO and UN Women, the session highlights how youth-led initiatives, particularly those empowering young women, can enhance food security and nutrition while contributing to poverty eradication.
Session Background
The session builds on the launch of the WFF Youth Assembly's Youth Recommendations Paper: Empowering Young Women in Agrifood Systems at the 2025 High-Level Political Forum. The paper identified ten priority areas for youth-led and multistakeholder action:
